Montgomery County Car Accident: 1 dead, 4 injured after Wednesday night crash in Wheaton, Maryland.

In Wheaton, Maryland, late on Wednesday, December 13th, a driver fled a traffic stop and collided with two cars, killing one person and injuring four others, according to the police.

According to Montgomery County police, at approximately 10 p.m. on Wednesday, the driver of a White Nissan Maxima struck a marked police vehicle. Officers attempted to stop the car.

According to the police, the driver fled the scene of the traffic check, colliding with a Honda Pilot on Georgia Avenue and a Toyota Corolla.

Inside the Nissan were two persons. While the other was taken into jail, one passed away at the spot. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.

The collision also injured four more people. All four individuals are likely to live, two with major injuries and the other two with lesser ones.

According to authorities, because this crash involved a police pursuit, the Maryland Attorney General’s Independent Investigations Division will be investigating.
