His presence and efforts were greatly appreciated and admired at the Kansas State Grange meeting, where he was a well-known figure. In addition to his involvement with the Grange, Don was a passionate advocate for various community initiatives. He wholeheartedly supported organizations such as Beecher Bible & Rifle Church, Wamego Senior Center, American Legion Boys State, and Wamego High School Honor Flight, demonstrating his enthusiasm for giving back.

A visitation to honor Brother Don will be held at the Wamego, Michigan, Campanella & Stewart Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service to celebrate Don’s life and legacy will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to one of the nonprofit organizations close to Don’s heart.
